A commode chair has one job: safe, dignified toileting when the bathroom is out of reach. MOVO makes six models for that job in Medica-Lab's own factories, the SFDA-licensed Madinah factory for Saudi Arabia and the Badr City factory for Egypt, from a fixed bedside commode to a commode chair with wheels large enough for the user to propel themselves.
The range includes an adult toilet chair with height-adjustable legs, a paediatric size, a wide bariatric commode rated to 300 kg, and three commode wheelchairs that double as shower chairs. Every model has a removable pan or bucket that is cleaned separately.

Bedside commode and toilet chair for elderly users
The adult MLW-813L has a light, corrosion-resistant aluminium frame, height-adjustable legs that set the seat between 38 and 48 cm from the floor, a 49 cm padded seat with lid and a removable pail beneath, and fixed side armrests that give support when standing up. For children, the MLW-813S offers a 35 cm seat adjustable from 29 to 36.5 cm on a powder-coated steel frame with padded, brightly finished armrests. For heavier users, the MLW-697 has a 59 cm seat, 62.8 cm between the armrests, a seat height adjustable from 49.8 to 59.8 cm and a 300 kg weight capacity.
Commode chair with wheels for shower and toilet
When the patient must move between bed and bathroom, a commode wheelchair combines both functions. The folding aluminium MLW-609LU has a U-shaped 46 cm seat, pneumatic 58 cm rear wheels and elevating footrests. The MLW-692L and MLW-863B have aluminium frames with a white liquid coating for wet-room corrosion resistance, PU seat and backrest, flip-up armrests and 24-inch quick-release rear wheels for self-propelling, in four seat sizes of 18, 20, 22 and 24 inches, with load capacities of 120 kg and 150 kg respectively.
How to choose a commode chair
Start with the use: a fixed bedside chair if the user stands and sits with light help, a commode wheelchair if they are moved to the bathroom or shower seated. Then seat width and user weight: seats run from 35 cm for children to 59 cm for bariatric use, and capacities from 100 to 300 kg. A commode wheelchair such as the MLW-609LU or MLW-863B has wheels so the user can be moved to the toilet or shower, and can be positioned directly over the toilet, which suits those who cannot walk to the bathroom.

The MLW-609LU, with pneumatic wheels, is intended for moving around the room and to the toilet rather than for use under the shower.
